Beginners workshop: Make a Handy Pouch

Have you never ever crocheted before or you learnt a long time ago and need taking back to basics?

Come and learn to crochet a handy loyalty card holder/ticket pouch in recycled cotton yarn to take home with you.

In this workshop you will learn all the basic skills, including:

• how to hold the yarn and hook;
• chain, double crochet, treble crochet, turn, edge;
• PLUS slip stitch, half treble crochet and double treble crochet (time allowing)

ALL materials are supplied, including a 50g ball of recycled cotton yarn (lots of colours to choose from), a 5mm crochet hook, a recycled cotton project bag, PLUS a FREE pattern for a clutch bag version of the pouch (pouch shown in royal blue).

The workshop fee includes tea or coffee and cake or biscuits during the essential break!

Maximum session size is 4 - to ensure sufficient individual guidance during the session.

Location: During the warmer months these workshops take place in my garden studio in Chesterton, Oxon.  This gives us the option to crochet outside also, where there is a shade or sun option (depending on the weather!).  I will send you details for directions and parking etc, once your booking is confirmed.
