Got a wedding or special event coming up?  Or just fancy a bit of top notch designer bling (I should Coco!) - without the price tag and doing your bit for the environment?   This crochet project is a real conversation piece and is based on a much admired, classic vintage design that sells for ££££s - even the daily hire cost is £££s (way more than this workshop)!
  • Use recycled T-shirt yarn to make your simple but beautiful designer bag
  • Finish it off in with your own chain/strap and pretty brooch (tip: charity shops are worth a look, if you don't have a vintage jewellery box to raid!) 
  • Add a magnetic clasp and optional lining

I will provide the clasp and recycled t-shirt yarn in lots of colours for you to make your own unique bag - you just add your own chain strap and brooch (alternatively I can show you how to make a strap, if you prefer).  Size 6-10mm hooks will be available to borrow or purchase - please do bring your own, if you have them.

This project will be made over two workshop sessions, and you will have homework after session 1 ready for the second session and to finish your bag.

*You must have the basic crochet skills: chain, double crochet, treble crochet for this project.
