Learn to make a stylish reversible crochet cushion - learn not one, but two different crochet techniques over the 2 workshop sessions.  Perfect for the garden, whilst the weather stays warm enough to sit out (with or without a blanket!) or bring it inside to cheer up a dull corner.  Flip it over when you fancy a change!
This is a great project for new crocheters with some experience (but not absolute beginners - please see other listings for Level 0 Workshops).  To be able to complete your cushion over the 2 sessions, you will need to do some homework after the first session.
You will use chunky recycled ribbon yarn and a larger hook to make your cushion - one side will use a granny stitch technique and the other side will be in C2C technique!
PLEASE NOTE:  Basic skills are required (minimum - chain, double crochet & treble stitch)
Taking place over 2 sessions at the fabulous Westbury Arts Centre (Milton Keynes), the workshop dates are:
Session 1: Tuesday 23rd September 2025: 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Session 2:Tuesday 30th September 2025: 7:00 - 9:00 pm
New skills you will learn:
- C2C crochet technique (Corner to Corner) for 1 side of the cushion
- Granny Stitch technique for the other side of the cushion
- neat joins, fastenings and finishes
- how to follow the crochet pattern
ALL materials will be supplied, including recycled cotton yarn,* new crochet hooks as required, recycled cotton project bag(s) and corresponding crochet patterns.  You will need to provide a cushion inner/pad to fit your finished cover - I will advise you during session 1.
*If you already have 6, 7 and 8 mm crochet hooks, please bring it/them along.  I will bring spares to borrow or buy (for a nominal charge) on the day, if required.
The maximum workshop size will be a small group of 7, to ensure sufficient individual guidance during the session.
Please do bring a snack along with you - crochet is hungry work!
Please understand that I am not able to offer refunds on bookings at Westbury.
