Winter Wishes Scarf & Reversible Mitts Set - Pattern Bundle

The Winter Wishes Scarf & Reversible Mitts Set Crochet Pattern Bundle has been designed by me using DK yarn.

It is written in UK Crochet Terms.

Skill Level: Beginner ++- Beginner ++/Intermediate

The scarf is the place to start, as a Beginner ++ pattern.  The mitts have a few additional skills.  Knowledge of basic stitches is required, plus the ability to follow instructions for special stitches that are explained in the patterns. 
Basic stitches and skills used in these patterns (UK Terms): slip stitch, double crochet, treble crochet, multiple stitches in the same stitch, skipping stitches (plus post stitches in the mitts pattern).

You will need:

• DK yarn in 4 shades (A - D)  225m/100g balls of each (quantity of yarn required may vary with yarn type used)
• 3.75mm & 3.5mm hooks (or to suit tension)
• 4.5cm & 3.5cm pompom makers (optional)

Patterns include:

• Written instructions to make both the scarf and the reversible fingerless mitts (with explanations of special stitches)
• Charts for the granny squares
• Colour photographs to illustrate each round of the granny squares and more helpful photographs

Measurements:  
Finished scarf, excluding trims, is approx 17cm x 200cm.
Mitts fit a medium sized adult hand, (adjust to fit adult hand sizes by changing hook size)

Photos show the scarf in my Fresh Start colour way using yarns from West Yorkshire Spinners.  I used 4 balls in total - 100g each of:

• Wool Revival in Natural and Glacier
• ColourLab DK in Very Berry and Pear Green
