The Winter Cosy Mug Wrap and Coaster crochet pattern has been designed by me using Aran/Worsted/Chunky yarn (thicker DK should also work) with DK ties and trim.
The pattern is written in UK Crochet Terms.

Skill Level: Beginner ++
Knowledge required of basic stitches plus ability to follow instructions for special stitches explained.Basic stitches and skills used in this pattern (UK Terms): slip stitch, double crochet, treble crochet, multiple stitches in the same stitch, skipping stitches.
You will need:
50g of Worsted/Aran/Chunky weight yarn in main colour
Small amount of DK weight yarn for trim and optional wrap tie in contrast colour
5mm (US H/8) hook (or to suit yarn and tension)
2.75mm (US C/11) hook (or to suit yarn and tension)
Button or metal press stud/popper (if not making tie version)
Small Pompom maker (optional)

Measurements: Finished Mug Wrap is 7.5cm x 17cm and Coaster is 12cm approx (excluding trims).
